Five years ago (on the 21st of August) Mrs Bear and I had the good fortune to view the latest US total eclipse in Broken Bow, NE.
Here's the outlook for the next thirty years or so ........
..... and here's what we saw ..... (the tiny dot to the left of the sun is Mercury).
