Special to the Geography Div (Hope you're healthy or rich subsection)

A wonderful interactive graphic on the number of folks to be impacted by the proposed republican
health care/tax cut plan. Heaven knows how much worse the Senate will make it.
Check it out.

My letter to the ones who claim to represent me:

As the attempt to repeal the ACA staggers secretly to a vote in the US Senate, I implore you to not let this abomination of a bill passed by the House, (passed without any consideration to its consequences, and unread by many members), come to a vote without adherence to normal Senate procedure -- committee hearings, debate and amendment.
Should this happen, and should you allow this to happen, please sell your home, move to trumpistan (or Kentucky) where your obvious allegiance lies and place your head between your legs or in the sand whichever you find more comfortable.
Please do not return to South Dakota. You will have proven yourself to be not only a disgrace as a US Senator but also as a supposed "representative" of this state.
You will have betrayed us and your solemn duty -- you will no longer be welcome here.

A Little Saturday Nite Bluegrass Div (Matrimonial subsection)

Well, June is traditionally the month for weddings, eh ? Here's something a bit different from the Dutch group Red Herring.

John Lawless from Bluegrass Today gives it this write-up:
We all know the term red herring to mean a diversion or distraction; something to throw us off a scent. It’s an old expression, often used in argument, to describe an attempt to deflect your attention.
But it’s also the name of a fine folk/bluegrass group from the Netherlands, based in the South Holland city of Rotterdam. This Red Herring is a four piece band based on the singing of Loes van Schaijk, who also plays bass with the group. Accompanying her are Arthur Deighton on mandolin and guitar, Joram Peeters on fiddle and mandolin, and Paul van Vlodrop on banjo and mandolin.
As a prelude to their next album, Here To Distract You, they have released a clever animated video set to one of the tracks on the record. The song is Wedding Dress, sung a capella in the bluegrass Gospel quartet style, through it is a secular number.
Agnes Loonstra created the video, and also designed and illustrated the matching album artwork
