Geography Div (Colonists subsection)

1607 - An expedition led by Captain Christopher Newport arrived at Jamestown, Virginia. The passengers went ashore the next day and this site became the first permanent settlement English colony in America.

I've lost count how many time I paddled around that island in a kayak.

John Starling has passed away. He joins John Duffy and Mike Aldridge. Only Ben Eldridge and Tom Gray remain from the original Seldom Scene.
RIP John. Thank you for your service to your country and the wonderful music you made.
He Rode All the Way To Texas.
