Geography Div (Cooler climes subsection)

While my ladylove and I are visiting sunny Arizona, thoughts turn to cooler  weather.
Gladly, not so cold that none are left to tell the tale.
I've always been fascinated by the Franklin Expedition's search for the Northwest Passage ever since I watched a PBS documentary on the autopsies of three of the sailors buried on Beechey Island (some of the images may be disturbing).

Finally, both of the missing ships, HMS Erebus and HMS Terror have been found.
