I'm sorry, but Domino's wasn't pretty good pizza even back in the 80's. I know, I worked in the industry back then. The best pizza back then was probably Mr. Gatti's, which made everything from scratch -- even the sauce was a high quality tomato sauce with a spice packet added. After that came Pizza Hut, which made their dough from scratch though they used a pre-fab sauce. Domino's on the other hand used frozen prefab dough that they defrosted and popped in the ovens, you might as well have bought a frozen pizza at the grocery store as buy a Domino's. Sadly, Pizza Hut went the same way once they got sold off by Pepsico and bought by the vulture capitalists. SIGH.
