I last visited Asheville in 1997(?) when my nephew lived there. Visited the Biltmore Estate and the downtown. 

The devastation of Hurricane Helene was amazing and tragic. So much great Bluegrass music has come out of the area, I can only hope its influence will help with the recovery and healing.

Well it's that time of year again when the "leaf peepers" hit the road; though I think the colors will be later this year.
