Sadly, Herschel Sizemore has passed away. Bluegrass Today has an excellent obit written by Richard Thompson.

I first heard him playing Grey Eagle and later his "standard," Rebecca.

 Today is Labor Day. .......... but it's really not "Labour Day" as seen by most of the world's countries, that would be May 1st. 

Oh well, our holiday is mainly dedicated to shopping and no one gets a day off!
