Tommorow marks the third anniversary of the death of Ray Davis - the long-time host of WAMU's Bluegrass Country. Ray always did a special Christmas broadcast and among the "Plum, Pitiful numbers was always his reading of Little Orphan Joe. Here is Ray reading it, backed by the Don Reno and Red Smiley band in December of 1971 - their last stage appearance before red passed away.
