A Little Anniversary Music Div

Two years ago, I reunited with a lady I first met on a blind date in 1979. We dated and then went our separate ways for the next 34 years.
Last year, we married and have never been happier. We're still having way too much fun !!
Last Saturday, we attended James Taylor's concert here in Rapid City (fabulous show). He closed his third encore with this new song, You and I Again. It seems so appropriate for today and to present it here.

Thank You Judy, the past two years have been the best of my life.. Better than I could have ever imagined ........... I Love You.

Geography Div (another convention subsection)

Well, now it's the turn of the "I don't belong to any organized political party. I'm a Democrat" of Will Rogers fame, to have their turn.

They'll be in the City of Brotherly Love to celebrate their togetherness and nominate Hillary for President.
The mini-bears will be anxiously awaiting the twitter comments from DDT.

Pennsylvania has been described as Philadelphia on one end, Pittsburgh on the other and Mississippi in between. Anyway, here's how Philadelphians view it:

Political Rhetoric Div (OOPS ! subsection)

It appears that DDT''s wife gave a speech ..............
It was in passable English, but had a couple of problems.
True to form, it was originally spun and denied until someone fell on their sword and fessed up.
Of course, DDT had to let his tiny hands wander and twit:

“Good news is Melania’s speech got more publicity than any in the history of politics especially if you believe that all press is good press!”

This is sort of like saying: "The historic arrival of the German airship Hindenburg at Lakehurst, New Jersey yesterday received a great deal of coverage in the papers and on radio "

"Oh, the humanity !"

It's Convention Time !! (OOPS, subsection)

Well, it's time for the Grand Ole Party  - the party of Lincoln (this one I think),  to gather together and attempt to revive the corpse of St Ronald and make Murica Grate  - sort of like fingernails on a chalkboard, eh ??

One would think that convention organizers would have a bit of sensitivity and a rudimentary sense of historical perspective than to do this:

They've scrambled to remove the signs,  but in cyberspace nothing ever goes away.  Supposedly these "White" elevators were for delegate use -- Why not label them "Delegate Elevators?" but I digress.

Another twitter troll said that there were Red and Blue elevators also ("Oh say can you see, etc" - get it?) but I have yet to see pictures of their signs.

It really should be GRATE !!!

Geography Div (there's a gatherin' of crazies somewhere here subsection)

Today, what's left (sic) of the GOP holds it's convention - - which in this instance will be something between a church (you know which one) service, a high school pep rally, a reality game show and a an Irish wake. Hope you have lots of popcorn ready for the circus.

Geography Div (Holiday subsection)

Well, here it is, that day that (probably) 60% of the population doesn't know why it's celebrated. If you're lucky, a local TeeVee station or one of the biggies will run an embarrassing segment. If not, I'm pretty sure you can find sumpin' on these here intertubes, eh ?

In any case, be safe.
